Mini Biography: Vidya was born in Ottapalam in Palakkad district, Kerala. She studied at St. Anthony Girl's High School, Mumbai and St. Xavier's College in Sociology. She did here MA in University of Mumbai. She works for several Music videos with Euphoria, Shubha Mudgal and Gajal singer Pankaj Udhas. Vidya also works in television serials before coming to the film industry. Her first movie is a bengali film named 'Bhalo Theko'. She debut in Hindi movie with 'Parineeta' which was a hit and won her the Filmfare Face of th Year award. Since then she never looks back and did her excellent works in film like Ishqiya, Paa, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Guru, No one killed Jessica etc.
